ALASKA: March 24, 2007. Predeceased by his sister Marilyn Judd. Survived by his mother Mildred, brother Richard (Carol), sister Myrtle. Wes had many nephews and nieces. He was more of a big brother than an uncle and will be deeply missed. Wes was a US Marine, serving two tours in Vietnam. Wes passed away peacefully at his home in Eagle, Alaska.

He attended General Motors Institute in Flint, Michigan where he was a charter and founding member of the Zeta Theta Chapter of Sigma Chi International Fraternity. Barry was a Life Loyal Sig. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Lucinda and Andrew Smith, Martha and Kenneth Breiner; 4 grandchildren, Christopher (Heidi) and Patrick (Wendy) Smith, Scott Breiner and Jenelle (William) Zayas; 3 great-grandchildren, Jonathen, Andi Jane and Colin Smith. Mrs. Root was a retired teacher from Kendall Central School and a member of Morton Baptist Church.
