Greece: Sept. 26, 2008, Gena Warner, 85. Survived by his wife, Alta "Maxine" Warner; his sons, Mark (Carol), Gena "Jay" (Paula), and Scott (Gloria Griffiths) Warner; his sister, Janet Johnson; 5 grandchildren; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Gena and Agnes, and his brother, Marvin "Red" Warner. He was a "Over the Hump" pilot during WWII, and a Kodak retiree.

Bill was a WW II Navy Veteran, U-Conn Graduate, retiree of Travelers Insurance Co. and an all-around athlete throughout his life.

Predeceased by his daughter, Miriam Hasman. Joseph graduated from St. Bonaventure Univ. and retired from Eastman Kodak. He was one of the founders of the Monroe County Conservative Party.

San Francisco, CA: Suddenly, Sept. 4, 2008. Predeceased by his beloved Grandmothers Rose and Judy, special Aunt Fran Desando, his parents Joseph and Carolyn Devitt. Survived by his sisters, Joanie (Dewey) Craw, Elaine (Richard) Becker; many nieces and nephews. Tom graduated from Western Iowa Tech with a degree in Piano Technology and moved to San Francisco where he operated a piano tuning and rebuilding business. "T" will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Brockport; Ray A. Northrup Sr., 80., former owner of Northrup Service in Jasper, NY, died Aug. 27, 2008, at his son's home in Brockport. He is survived by his wife of 35 years Barbara (House) Northrup; his children, Ray Jr. (Jane) Northrup, Mary Bess (Charles) Wallington, Allan Northrup, Nicholas (Barbara) Northrup; Step children, Diana (Mitch) Bisanar, Nancy (Craig) Powley, Lynette (Clay) O'Dell, Karen (Richard) Kesby, Robert Wormley Jr., Ronald (Sheila) Northrup; 20 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; brother, Arthur Northrup; sister, Betty Schilling; many nieces and nephews. Originally from Wellsville, NY Lois eventually settled in Rochester where she worked for 20 years for the NYS Dept of Taxation & Finance before retiring in 1991. She is survived by her brother Walter (Thea) Wolf; son Gregory (Shirley) Slater; daughter Laurie (Mark) Callahan; grandchildren, Ryan (Deanne) & Jeffrey Slater, Zachary & Megan Callahan; great-grandchildren Brett, Vanessa & Avery. Hilton: Anna E. Bauernfeind, 81, Wed., July 23, 2008. She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years David Bauernfeind, their children Donna (Jim) Schiebel, John (Ellen) Bauernfeind. She also leaves her sister Irene (August) Andersen. Anna had been a 50 year member of the First Presbyterian Church of Cherry Valley and the Springfield Grange.

French, Edna (McAllister)
Greece: July 23, 2008 Edna M. "Babe" French, 89. Predeceased by her husband, Harry W. French, who died 7/21/1991, just 3 days prior to their 46th Wedding Anniversary. She is survived by her children, Gail Beaty, Robert French, Richard (Jackie) French, Nancy (Rob) Ruffner and Suzie (Gary) Helfer; 16 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; her brother, Richard (Carol) McAllister; sister-in-law, Caroline French; 1 aunt; several cousins and many nieces and nephews. Edna was a WAC during WWII and a retiree of Present Company.
     Her last years were spent as a resident of the 3rd Floor at Lakeside-Beikirch Care Center where she was lovingly taken care of by caretakers who became her extended family.

FlagSchwenk, Franz J.
Hilton, NY: Passed away July 20, 2008 in Garden City, NY. A public Graveside Service will be held on Sunday, August 10, at 11AM at Parma Union Cemetery, Parma Center Rd. (Rte. 18), Hilton, NY. The beloved husband of the late Erica T. Schwenk and father of the late Mitzi Schwenk and Kurt Schwenk. A loving father of son, Eric (Virginia) Schwenk; daughter, Heidi (Dan) Harden; grandchildren, Maximilian Schwenk, Walker Harden and Conner Harden; brother of Andreas (Marion) Schwenk; sisters and brothers-in-law, Lillian Rowell, Frederick (Joan) Taube, Marion (Martin) Vertson and Roger Taube; several nieces and nephews.
     Franz is a WWII Veteran of the US Navy's USS Wyoming and USS Guam from 1944 to 1946; was a Senior Architect with the Eastman Kodak Company; privately designed a variety of structures and homes for his relatives and community; was a farmer, an avid sailor, gardener and painter in watercolor and oils. A man of fierce independence and loyalty, with many interests and talents, Franz left an indelible impact on many lives and will be deeply missed. In lieu of flowers, please donate to a charity of choice or to Lifetime Care Home Health and Hospice, or St. Joseph's Villa of Rochester.
