Greece: Peacefully August 17, 2009, after a long courageous battle. He is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Joyce (Little) Dobles; his children, Deborah (James) Buckley, Rebecca Sage, Frederick (Joan) Dobles Jr.; grandchildren, Scott & Breanna Buckley, Matthew & Melissa Sage, Denis & Grace Dobles; his brother, Donald (Aileen) Dobles; his sister, Betty Fay; brother-in-law, Colin Baker; sister-in-law, Jean Mitchell; many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his granddaughter, Hannah Dobles; and his sisters, Dorothy Sweeney and Gladys Baker. He was a WWII Navy veteran, serving aboard the USS Alaska CB-1 and a Kodak retiree.
No prior calling. Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service, SUN. August 23 at 2 o'clock at Trinity Episcopal Church, 3450 Ridge Road West, followed by Inurnment in Trinity Columbarium.
