Webster (Hilton): Anne L. Bernardo, 89, passed peacefully on May 4, 2008. Anne will be greatly missed. Predeceased by her husband Joseph D. Bernardo and her sisters and brothers. She is survived by her children Daniel (Arlene) Bernardo and Elaine (Musa) Tannous, grandsons Eric (Vera) Tannous, Adam (Alicia) Tannous; granddaughter Danene Bernardo; great-grandsons Joseph, Thomas, Vincent; many caring nieces, nephews and cousins whom she was so proud of and loved very much. Hilton: May 4, 2008, Robert G. Trembeth, 84. He is survived by his wife, Beatrice "Bea" (Burns) Trembeth; his daughters, Linda Frankenberger, Shari (Peter) Munding, Susan (Dale) Lerkins; 8 grandchildren, Kamie & Tyler Frankenberger, Ryan, Julie & Michael Munding, Kimberly (Michael) Chiapperini, Trevor & Jill Lerkins; great-granddaughter, Kacie; sister-in-law, Jane Curtis; 2 nieces and 1 nephew. Albion: Neva L. Wright, of Albion, formerly of Hilton, NY, passed away on Mon, Apr. 28, 2008. Neva was born on Jul. 23, 1917 to Frank G. and M. May (Snapp) Blair. She is survived by her son, Douglas F. (Beverly) Wright of Medina; 3 grandchildren, Matthew Wright of Charlotte, NC, Lisa Wright of Churchville and Lori Wright of Morrisville, NC. She is also survived by her sister, Frances (Robert) Kamp of Albany; a brother, Robert (Marge) Blair of Gansevoort; daughter-in-law, Jane Suarez of Churchville. Neva was predeceased by her husband, Leonard M. Wright, whom she married on Dec. 10, 1938; her son, George M. Wright; her parents; her brothers, Alvin and George Blair; sisters, Ruth Crook, Inez Cox and Iva Howard.

She was predeceased by her brother, Timothy Lynch. Mary had been a long standing member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Secular Franciscans.

Rochester: Mildred L. Verblaw, 96 passed away peacefully on Apr. 25, 2008 after a brief illness. She is survived by her daughters, Carol (B. Dale) Garrett, Doris (Joe) Ziegler, Diane (Denny) Rudd; grandchildren, Gary & Steven Wahl, Karen Ziegler, James McNeil; 12 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild.

Hilton: Robert E. Allison formerly of Niagara Falls, NY and a 40 year resident of Hilton died Apr. 21, 2008 at age 78. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Elizabeth J. (Lundberg) Allison; their children, Robin E. Allison and Robert C. (Kris) Allison; grandson, Ian; sister, Doris (Andy) Mucha; many nieces & nephews.

Congilaro, Ann J.
Irondequoit: On Apr. 21, 2008. Ann, at the young age of 86, joined her husband Angelo who predeceased her in 2003, and her daughter Concetta, who predeceased her in 1959. They will meet together in heaven. She is survived by her sons Paul, Phillip, Angelo, and Peter; grandchildren Jennifer, Mary Theresa, Jason, Hannah, Alyssa, Phillip Jr., Jason, Angelo Joel and great-grandchildren Ethan, Madison, Reagan, Isabella and Sophia; sisters Mary , Josephine and Celia; many nieces, nephews and all her friends.

Redding, Julia Ann (Nich)
Hamlin: Julia A. Redding passed away Apr. 19, 2008 after a long battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband of 38 years Mel Redding; son Scott Redding (Christina) of Seneca Falls, NY, James Redding (Kara) of Rochester, NY, Jason Redding of Rochester, NY; loving grandchildren Lily, Leah, Kyle, Casey and Cody; sisters Geraldine Fling of Hamlin, NY, Jean Gonzalez (Tony) of Gates, NY, Mary Hess (Dennis) of Hamlin, NY, Debbie Howe (Doug) of Holley, NY, Chester J. Nich (Liz) of Rochester, NY; several nieces, nephews and two very special children Chase & Cole. She was predeceased by her parents Chester and Betty Nich of Greece, NY and brother-in-law George Fling of Hamlin, NY. Julia was born on Sep. 7, 1949 in Rochester, NY. She married Mel on May 30, 1970 in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Rochester, NY. They lived in Rochester from 1970-1981 before settling in Hamlin. Julia was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend. Julia was a devoted and hard working homemaker, gifted in cooking, cleaning and caring for children. After raising her own three children she worked as a nanny for two families. Julia became much more than a nanny to these families. She developed a deep bond with these children and they referred to her as grandma. Julia loved the fall and summer seasons, wind chimes, warm weather, picnics with family and friends, walking, bike riding, the fall foliage and the opportunity to travel and camp at various locations. Julia was so proud of her grandchildren and loved spending time with them. The living room of her home is filled with pictures including a large wall mount photo of her children and grandchildren that she received as a Christmas gift in 2007. She proudly displayed this above her fireplace. Julia fought multiple myeloma, a form of cancer, for three years. On several occasions her oncologist said to her he had never seen anyone battle the disease the way she did. Julia's strength and perseverance allowed her more time than her doctors expected. She battled with courage throughout her illness. The family wishes to extend gratitude to the doctors and nurses of Strong Memorial Hospital for the loving care they extended her.
     The family will receive relatives and friends at The Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, Inc., 735 East Ave., Hilton on Mon., Apr. 21 4-8 PM. Julia's Funeral Mass will be held on Tues. Apr 22 10 AM at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Hamlin. The celebrant will be the Reverend William Spilly. Interment will take place Lakeside Cemetery, Hamlin. Spencerport: Bernice G. Barber, 91, Apr. 11, 2008. She is survived by her husband Merwin Barber, her children Corwin (Patricia) Boddy, John (Kathleen) Boddy, Sandra (Jim) Ricci, stepchildren; Larry (Mary) Barber and Donna (Ken) Neitz. She also leaves several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Hilton: Red Paxson, 86. Apr. 6, 2008. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Clara Arlene Paxson; their children, David C. Paxson, Sidney E. (Carol) Paxson; their grandchildren, Tina (Mike) Burke, David Paxson, Michael Paxson, Kevin Paxson; great-grandchildren, Nikki Paxson, Skyler Burke and Kaitlyn Burke. He was a Kodak retiree and a US Army WWII veteran.
