HILTON: Peacefully March 29, 2004. Barbara Miles, 85. She is survived by her beloved husband of 60 years, Brayton G. Miles, also survived by her devoted brother, Burton (Ellen) Hendershot, several cousins, including Bud Hendershot, also many neighbors and friends, all of whom she loved dearly. She ran Barbara's Beauty Shoppe for many years. Barbara was a lifelong member of Hilton Baptist Church. She was very supportive of the Hilton Rotary Club through the Rotary Anns, responsible for selling and delivering dozens of geraniums each Spring. The Rotary Club honored her by making Barbara a Paul Harris Fellow Recipient. Barbara and Brayton were longtime members of Parma Union Cemetery Board of Trustees. Barbara was one of Hilton's "Most Highly Respected Citizens" and will be greatly missed by so many. She spent many long days at her brother's apple orchards, picking bushels of apples and sharing them with the entire community.
    Friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service FRI. April 2 at 11AM at Hilton Baptist Church, after which a Memorial Reception will be held in the Lloyd Room of the church. lakeDodson, Nelson E. Jr.
October 12, 1926 - March 22, 2004. In Dayton, Ohio, formerly of Hamlin, NY at the V.A. Medical Center, he went home to be with the Lord after a long, courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by his daughter, Frances; son Jerry; sisters, Frances Delano and Janet Halm; brothers Charles (Corky) and Thomas Dodson.
Survived by his devoted wife of 55 years Mildred of Fairborn, Ohio; daughter Angela Smith of Richmond, VA; son Donald (Anita) Dodson of Waldorf, MD; 3 grandsons, Hugh Gee, Michael Smith, and Gregory Dodson; 1 great-grandson Jordon Smith; siblings, Myrtle Hooks, Mae (Salvin) LaManna, Milton (Ellen) Dodson, all of Rochester, and Marion (Joseph) Alicea of Deltona, FL, William (Teddy) (Betty) Dodson of Hamlin; brother-in-law, Martin; sisters-in-law, Grace, Muriel Dodson, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Mr. Dodson served 22 1/2 yrs in the Army and Air Force and 27 yrs with Civil Service before retiring. He was a member of the V.F.W. Post #8919 in El Paso, TX and V.F.W. Post #6861 in Fairborn, OH. He was also a 32nd degree Mason with the Masonic Lodge in El Paso, TX.
    No prior calling hours at his request. All arrangements were made in Dayton, OH. Burial will take place in National Cemetery in Dayton.
