A special thank you to our angels at West Side Manor and Lifetime Care Hospice. He proudly served the Town of Greece for 33 years and also was Assistant Manager of the Monroe County Airport. He served in the U.S. Army 1941-1945, 62 year member of Barnard Fire Department and Exempts; FASNY; Western NY Firemen's Assn; 60 year member of the American Legion 468 (raised money door-to-door to build it); BPOElks 2016 (past Exalted Ruler and District Deputy Grand Exalted Ruler); Shrine/Masonic Clio Lodge-Hilton-32nd degree Mason; Greece Grange.

HILTON: Suddenly, Feb.17, 2006, Richard P. Ugino, 56. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Joan (Carroll) Ugino, daughter Emily (26), son Richard C. (23); mother Angela Ugino of Rochester and brother Dr. Michael (Donna) Ugino of South Carolina; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Dr. James (Mary Ann) Lovelock; nieces, nephews, and many friends. He was a graduate of St. John's Grammar School, St. Andrew's Seminary and Heidelberg College (1971) & SUNY Brockport (M.S.ED. & C.A.S.). He taught Social Studies in both public and private schools before returning to the Army and serving as an Army National Guard Officer (AGR) on active duty from 1981 to 1997. He was promoted to Major in 1992 and was selected for Battalion Command/promotion to Lieutenant Colonel when he retired in 1997. His branches included Military Intelligence, Field Artillery and Multi-Functional Logistics. Upon contracting Hodgkins Disease in 1992, he wrote his first book "Form of Mind Wellness" as a resource for cancer patients/survivors. After military retirement, Rick was a Business Consultant in his own firm SBS (Strategic Business Systems) Inc. and also served as an Adjunct professor of business in local Colleges. In 2002 he was named Academic Dean of the Rochester Business Institute (RBI) serving until 2004. He was a member along with the ARE of the MOAA (Military Officers Association of America), AFIO (Association of Former Intelligence Officers), NRA (National Rifle Association) and former member and Fellow of the CMH (Company of Military Historians).

Iris made the world a better place with her strength, courage, sense of humor, and her faith.
