Rochester: Friday, Aug. 17, 2007, at age 63, after a long illness. Predeceased by her mother, Ruth Habgood. Survived by her father, Charles Habgood; brothers, Tim (Ann), Ted (Kathy); nieces, Jenny, Kristy; nephews, Brent, Cody, Matt; and many special friends and staff from the ARC of Rochester. Sharon was one of the first participants in the ARC's program in 1962 and throughout these past 45 years, she always gave her best in the work she did and the caring of others. She faced a long and difficult illness valiantly, as she did her life, always thinking of others ahead of herself. Sharon's family expresses a deep and heartfelt appreciation for the wonderful ARC staff at her residence who cared for Sharon through this difficult time.
     Calling hours for Sharon will be held at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home in Hilton, Mon., Aug. 20th from 4-7 PM, where a funeral service will be held Tues., Aug. 21st at 10 AM. Pete lived his life to the fullest in exactly the way he wanted.
